Hello, Thunderbolt 3 connection has stopped working for the last two weeks. When installing the driver, it gives an error 0x80070643. Usually, when you install Windows 10 on a PC, the drivers are automatically installed through Windows Updates. The Thunderbolt port can be found under System Devices in Device Manager. You may want to check by connecting a device to the Thunderbolt port and see if you are able to use the Device. Let us know if you need any further assistance … In windows 10, the thunderbolt controller shows up in device manager, tb control center works and both my tb4 hub and EGPU seems to work fine. My final advice, if you love windows 11 for some reason, keep an eye out if they fix this issue in 11, but until they do, run windows 10. On a second device I do see thunderbolt under software component but on this device I don’t see it under software component. All I see is usb4 as shown in above image. The usb4 don’t show on my second device where I see thunderbolt under software component menu. What could be wrong? Please help. Thank you I have an external NVMe M.2 Thunderbolt 3 External SSD and I am trying to connect it to my PC. It appears in the thunderbolt control center and it shows that is connected but the drive itself is not available anywhere on the PC. I have checked the Disk Manager, Device Manager, and even the file explorer. I trying to see if anyone can help me … Thunderbolt device connected but not found in Device Manager on Windows 11. I have a Ryzen 7950X3D running on ASUS Crosshair Hero X670E which has USB4/Thunderbolt 3 ports. I been using a HighPoint TB3 to PCIE enclosure for installing a 10GB network card. Recently I picked up the QNAP QNA-T310G1S adapter, which I found it to be much more compact … So is this thunderbolt, i am very confused? -Hi, my name is Claudeir, I’m happy to help you! If you just want to identify which device driver is in Device Manager, just remove it and see which one disappears in Manager. -Feel free to leave your opinion, marking as answered if the answer helped, or leaving more details so that we can continue … 1. Try again on another device with Windows 11. This is to determine whether there is something wrong with your Thunderbolt 3 or not. 2. Go to Device Manager, remove and reinstall the drivers. This is to determine whether the issue is with the driver or not. 3. Hi, I would recommend installing and run Dell Command Update (2nd one from the list), and let the software scan and update the firmware/drivers automatically. If you want to do it manually anyway, the 1st, 3rd and 7th are those I would download and execute. Please let me know if I can help you further! First of all, after you connect the Thunderbolt correctly, the icon will appear on the taskbar under normal circumstances, as shown in the figure: If your Windows does not show this sign, it is likely a driver problem. It is recommended that you try to update a specific driver. See if it works. Refer this link: Thunderbolt™ 3 and 4 DCH Driver …
