Title challengers Manchester United and Chelsea are both in action in the north-west, with United hosting arch rivals Liverpool while Chelsea visit Blackburn. Games between Manchester United and Liverpool are always highly charged, but at this late stage of the season the fixture takes on even greater significance. Defeat for United would severely dent their chances of an unprecedented fourth consecutive league title, while Liverpool can ill afford slip-ups in the scrap for a Champions League slot.
