"When the door opened" Clive Grenfel sees his wife in another man's arms. A tussle ensues leading Clive to believe he has killed the other man, and he flees to the Northwoods. There he becomes acquainted with an old gentleman and his lovely granddaughter but keeps his distance because of his past. A stranger’s arrival proves a catalyst to the whole fraught situation.

Bardhi, a young doctor, is assigned to work in a remote mountainous village under difficult conditions.

Yoko, a 5-year-old girl, on a walk with her father finds an abandoned Western-style building with a beautiful garden, into which an elderly woman is moving. One night she is guided by a girl, who looks into the mysterious world of her grandmother's memory. The memories of 5-year-old Yoko and her 70-year-old grandmother overlap. Yoko experiences an adventure in her grandmother's time that was neither her dream nor reality.

Using footage shot between their formation in 1965 and Morrison's death in 1971, it follows the band from the corridors of UCLA's film school, where Manzarek and Morrison met, to the stages of sold-out arenas.

A white family has just put their house on the market and are soon showing it to an interested black family. The neighbors begin to gossip and soon the white family becomes the target of harassment and threats by bigoted residents in the community, who do not want a black family in the neighborhood.
