The film is about the complex relationship between Ezzah, and her sister, Faridah. It is an exploration of the silence in their family. It focuses on a few specific memories that triggered the silence. Will they finally be able to break the silence?

The wife of a middle-aged stone miner bears child while he is in a relationship with an enchanted black figure. A fettered commitment to an unborn child he already loves and a wife he despises torments the man. The enchanted lover offers him uncertain seduction. And he must choose, just as every dark creature must only pick between painful fates.

In the middle of a tense meeting with his friends and family, Doovie decides to get up and leave. He takes a ride with the first car he sees outside of his kibbutz. an ice cream truck driven by erez, a druze ice cream seller. together they roam around the golan heights. a meeting from the past will reflect doovie’s current state of being.

A young man lies down on the grass in the public garden. That becomes a reason to begin conversations by other people.

As living in the family home becomes increasingly heavy, I search for refuge in my family archive but discover that memories are even heavier.

"The Dead Weight of a Quarrel Hangs is a three-part video project: Missing Lebanese Wars (in three parts), Secrets in the Open Sea and Miraculous Beginnings (in two parts). The work investigates the possibilities and limits of writing a history of the Lebanese wars (1975-1991). All parts are short fake documentaries, hysterical symptoms of sorts that present imaginary events conctructed out of innocent and everyday material. The tapes document fantastic situations that beset a number of individuals during the civil wars. The tapes do not document what happened, but what can be imagined, what can be said, what can be taken for granted, what can appear as rational, sayable, and thinkable about the wars."

Three emotional stories set in Nepal show how communities are already being impacted by flooding and drought, all made worse by the injustice of climate change.

Curiosity about a strange heirloom —an ancient 3-ounce lead fishing sinker he inherited from his Spanish immigrant grandfather— is what drives the fictionalized narrator of this documentary to travel from his New York home to Tampa, Florida.
