On the way to work the protagonist avoids driving through a tunnel, making a detour instead. One day, driving into an obstacle, he has no choice but to finally face his fears.

A modern Japanese family loses their youngest son in a tragedy. The mother, Misako, plunges into depression and the oldest son Akira starts blaming himself for the death of his brother.

This short documentary begins with the script. Its author is also the protagonist who works as location scout. The story is about the author himself, his mother who died before her time due to overworking and “that man” who abused his mother.

Prompted by the strange movements of the girl as well as by seeing another girl in a wheel-chair, his imagination starts working. Yet he is still able to enter the Tunnel of Memories.

The Hip-Hop Nucleus is a documentary on the world famous Tunnel nightclub of New York City. The Tunnel was the club most people feared to enter due to the constant violence, sex and drugs. The Tunnel opened in early 1992 by Peter Gatien. In 1994 promoters Jessica Rosenblum and Chris Lighty began promoting a Hip-Hop parties on Sunday’s called Mecca. In 1996 Franchise Entertainment took over the Sunday night and this was during the Golden Era of Hip-Hop and the Tunnel became a Hip-Hop Nucleus as it birthed a lot of today’s multi platinum artist who went on to become Grammy winners, CEO’s, entrepreneurs and even moguls. Artist such as Sean “Jay-Z” Carter, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jermaine Dupri, Andre “Dr. Dre” Smith, Snoop Dogg and DJ Funkmaster Flex to name a few. One of the Tunnel past bouncers was Vin Diesel.

Sug-i, a poor North Korean girl is ordered by the communists to go into the mountains and bring wild ginseng for the Red Chief. She wanders around in Mountain Geumgang, where she slips over a rock. Ttoli lives in the mountains with the wild animals and is also called Jang-gun. He saves Sug-i with his animal friends. Through Sug-i, he comes out into the world and comes to learn of his past. His parents had tried to escape from North Korea but had been arrested, and Ttoli had been abandoned. Meanwhile, with the Red Chief’s birthday approaching, communists force workers to “dig the tunnel faster,” “make a trench,” and “bring wild ginseng.” Ttoli, catches on to the communists’ plans. Together with his friends, he defeats the North Koreans who were digging the third tunnel, saves his father who was among the prisoners, and finally comes face to face with the Red Chief.

To the modern viewer, it may seem peculiar that there are several movies in which a man sneaks a kiss off a young woman in a darkened railway car, all produced in the first few years of the motion picture.
