Basia and Stefan are a young married couple during World War II who risk their lives to bring aid to Jews. He is an architect, she a nurse--a member of "Zegota" (the Polish underground organization to aid Jews in occupied Poland which operated under the auspices of the Polish government in exile). The series takes place both during the war and in the present day. Basia and Stefan meet accidentally, fall in love, and marry. Basia is active with the underground from the beginning of the war; Stefan is not, but a family tragedy changes his attitude.

The two-part documentary event “Right to Offend: The Black Comedy Revolution” explores the progression of Black comedy and the comedians who have used pointed humor to expose, challenge and ridicule society’s injustices and to articulate the Black experience in America. The series examines Black comedy through a unique lens, tracing the evolution and social awakening of the courageous comedians who dared to push against the constraints of their time and spoke truth to power.

The Price is Right in the UK was hosted by Leslie Crowther, Bob Warman, Bruce Forsyth, and Joe Pasquale. It ran discontinuously from 24 March 1984 to 7 April 1988, with a second run from 1989, a third run from 4 September 1995 to 16 December 2001 and a fourth run from 8 May 2006 until 12 January 2007.

In the 1930s, Bo Ching-wan and his family have come to crime infested Tong Yan Street in Bangkok. His mother Ting Sai-fung has become emotionally unstable. Twenty-five years later, Ching-wan sets foot in Tong Yan Street again and encounters a swindler called Chin Chin-chin. Chun-shan’s son Lin Gik turns out to be a corrupt cop. His colluding partners Pang Kin and Kam Lung are bosses of the two most notorious gangs. Pang Kin’s only son returns to Bangkok with his fiancée Ching On-na. However, he is assassinated, causing the two gangs to clash with each other. Ching-wan establishes Overseas Chinese Society of Bangkok. Ching-wan and his partners encourage good deeds and punish the baddies. The Society is in disarray as it repeatedly faces up to difficulties. There is still a long way to go before the chums find peace.

LUI MAN FUNG (MAN TSE LEUNG) is a top neurological surgeon, a very earnest and resolute type who will try to achieve his goals by hook or by crook. Because of his character defects, he has been on bad terms with his family. Even his girlfriend YIP MAN (HSUAN JESSICA HESTER) is worried about his raging temper. The relationship between the pair therefore involves frequent quarrels and arguments. Eight-year-old NG SIU TUNG (CHENG PAK LAM) has been suffering from brain cancer. Wishing for a medical cure, he follows his uncle LUK AH CHOI (CHEUNG WAI KIN) to the United States to seek consultation treatment.....

Salvatore "Sal" Fragione is the Italian owner of a pizzeria in Brooklyn. A neighborhood local, Buggin' Out, becomes upset when he sees that the pizzeria's Wall of Fame exhibits only Italian actors. Buggin' Out believes a pizzeria in a black neighborhood should showcase black actors, but Sal disagrees. The wall becomes a symbol of racism and hate to Buggin' Out and to other people in the neighborhood, and tensions rise.

Turning 40 should be a year when everything is falling into place; however, 42-year-old Bian Liang is completely at a loss. As a father, who actively seeks breakthroughs, he encounters hurdles in his quiet and indifferent son and has reached a bottleneck in his career.

Kōjiro Shindō is a highly-skilled negotiator working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As his plane at Haneda airport prepares to take off, a huge mysterious cube appears from the sky. 'It' expands rapidly, and absorbs the passenger plane and its 252 passengers. The cube's name is "Kado". A strange being called Yaha-kui zaShunina appears from within Kado and tries to make contact with humanity. Shindō, who was been absorbed by Kado, ends up taking on the role of mediator between Yaha-kui zaShunina and humanity. The Japanese government sends its own negotiator, Saraka Tsukai.
