Jun returns to his hometown by the sea. But his girlfriend Kay does not recognize him as Jun. Then a mysterious man, Shadow, appears. A fantastic sci-fi short film that was highly acclaimed at film festivals in the UK and Croatia.

It's only a half hour drive from Bnei-Brak, a closed Orthodox city, to Tel Aviv's shore. But for the women going there it's light years away. "The Kosher Beach" is a gated and secluded 100 meter-long strip of beach with dedicated days for women and men to bath separately, only a wooden fence separates between the freedom of the gay beach and them. The "Brave Bunch", a secret female orthodox sisterhood, arrive to what is a source of quiet sanity for them and they consider it a safe haven away from social and family problems: their own private and free heaven. Here they can be themselves, take a deep ocean breath and open their hearts to the sea, until the day the Rabbi's try to close the beach. What will the girls do? Will they give in or fight?

In the summer of the year 2000, a peaceful alien race called the Mirusian steals a weapon called the Deathsphere from a hostile alien race called the Ghastorian, and while attempting to transport it to a lab, their ship is shot down by the Ghastorians and they must crash land on Earth. Before they crash they shoot the weapon like a torpedo from the ship to some location on Earth. There is only one survivor of the crash, the least intelligent of the crew, who before they were attacked was using a highly advanced mop to clean the floor. He must locate the Deathsphere before the Ghastorians do. He gets confused for someone else and becomes part of a group having a beach party while the Deathsphere gets mistaken for a volleyball which some young people play with. The Maltrusian alien along with the Deathsphere go off with a group that separates from the party to go up to the mysterious abandoned house of the deceased Mr. Willoughby.

44Wetsuit and À la vie à la mer work together to organise beach clean ups. We followed them from July to October 2020, filming their actions on different beaches of the French West Coast.

Beach is a summary of conversations in Super 8 and Super 35mm that narrates, in a experimental way, the 21 year relationship of a couple up to ther separation. A reflection on how we decide to build our own memories, the testimony of a generation that lives creating memories to share and that feels nostalgia for memories they adapt from other generations, even. This short film is imagined as a memory or a dream that anyone could incorporate into their own memory.
