The weekend of August 15th gives the opportunity to Michel Fauvet, a recently divorced father, to spend two full days with Bruno, his thirteen-year-old son, that he can normally see only one Sunday a month. Feeling guilty, he tries to compensate for the trauma inflicted to Bruno by giving him presents. This time around, Michel has decided to treat him to a nice trip to Bruges and the Belgian Coast. Which will not prevent Bruno from asking his father disturbing questions.

The owner of a travel agencies decides to took a holiday with his family. He combines business with pleasure and undertakes a tour of inspection of some of his enterprises. Incognito he arrives with his family at the Castle Hotel on the Wörthersee. But the hotel manager has been warned of the impending visit and means to give the important guest the red carpet treatment. Unfortunately he does not know him personally and so takes the wrong man for the incognito inspector. Neither of the two men enjoy the mix-up and the poor hotel director has to live through some uncomfortable hours before he manages to pour oil on the troubled water.

The film tells the story of an elderly couple living a peaceful life in a village, with their eldest son living nearby and their youngest son working abroad. It depicts the struggle and conflict between two generations.

50s quiet Estonian town. After a long separation, two brothers met in their parents' house. Everybody wants love but when they stand in front of someone or something that could be that love, they screw it up, because they are too young, too busy, too naive, too afraid or because of many other reasons and instead of going for it and try it they end up not taking a chance and ends up with nothing. And they start all over.

A theatre group in the German provinces. Some live here, others travel for the rehearsal weekends, returning home for a few days. They all share a love of making theatre and a desire to address relevant social issues on stage. Marianne, who also directs the plays, writes them and they rehearse on her cold barn floor. They are about the conflicts in our society - the new work is about food: the consumption of meat, consumerism, vegetarianism and bulimia. After rehearsals, the participants sit together over coffee and cake in cigarette smoke, planning, gossiping and exchanging ideas about what is happening in their lives. In this motley community, everyone has their own burdens, worries, hopes and problems. But everything is put on the table with an openness that quickly makes it clear that this is not just about playing theatre.

Lent is one of the most important events in the life of an Orthodox person. The film tells about the quest, doubts, extremes and experiences of a young man who chose a difficult path of abstinence not only from many worldly goods, but also from all thoughts that contradict his own picture of the world, based on religious dogmas. On his way, he encounters, it would seem, everyday and ordinary questions for a modern person, nevertheless, which do not fit his world outlook. Leaving efforts to resist to all that in his opinion "it is impossible, not arbitrary," he tries to get used to, to accept, to reach a balance with the world in which he lives.

During the war, a girl falls in love with a soldier. Having no news from her, she has meanwhile accepted the overtures of an older colleague.

Thoughts, sometimes just numbers, reach us from offscreen almost like music, like a mantra or a prayer. What we see are circular fragments from familiar spaces: a mirror, a magnifying glass. A day like any other day: without medication, or perhaps better with? A film like the investigation of an uncertainty principle: do we really see better with a magnifying glass? A face scratched out of the family album: the gap is draped with flowers and cut-out pictures of clothes and finally filled again by a drawing.
