In this videotape, a companion to Elke..., the actor's task was to imagine himself sinking into the floor. The resulting images portray him stretched out on the floor, sometimes face up, sometimes face down, in a series of dissolves. Although the mental component of the exercise is not captured, Nauman has recounted the highly charged atmosphere of the shooting session: "He was lying on his back and after about fifteen minutes he started choking and coughing. He sat up and said, 'I did it too fast and scared myself.' He didn't want to do it again, but did it anyway. At another time we were watching his hand through the camera and it was behaving very strangely. We asked him about it later and he said that he was afraid to move his hand because he thought he might lose his molecules." -- EAI

Within weeks word spread: a little-known mathematician, with no permanent job, working in complete isolation, had made an important breakthrough toward solving the Twin Prime Conjecture. The tradition of translating the Bible into new languages came to an abrupt end in the Middle Ages. As the Church strove to fight heresy, it sought to do so by limiting the faithful's access to the Bible. That policy would change with the Reformation, Counter-Reformation and the invention of printing. A lecture by Dr. William Neidinger.

Performers include B.B. King, Booker T. Jones, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Gary Clark Jr., Jeff Beck, Keb Mo, Mick Jagger, Shemekia Copeland, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, and Warren Haynes, with Taraji P. The Church's Under the Milky Way is one of the great Australian anthems. But for the man who wrote it, success became a portal into a world of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll that almost destroyed his life. This is the story of Steve Kilbey. By any metric Steve Kilbey, frontman of Oz rock pioneers The Church, has been one of Australia's most prolific and influential musicians. Over 40 years he's released more than 750 songs across almost 50 albums, earning himself endless accolades and a place in the ARIA Hall of Fame. But most people know him for his 1988 international hit, Under the Milky Way – a self-described "accident", which kickstarted a lost decade of heroin addiction and would eventually cost him his family and almost his mind.
