In Romania, four young people meet a lost traveler. They decide to follow the same path. Through various landscapes and local encounters, their adventure transports us to the Carpathians and describe a drifting generation.

Les Grands Enfants does not tell a story in the traditional sense. Instead, it offers an honest image of people's dreams of change : people often unemployed, dissatisfied in some way with their work, or caught up in complicated social relationships. The film is set in Montreal.

"Sons of Cain" is set in a small village in northern Albania. In this place time is suspended and the severe rules of an old code (Kanun) still dictate the life and death of the inhabitants. A group of seven children obliged to live under this code meet and discuss the story of Cain and Abel. Creating their own dream space, partially consciously and partially not, they create an analogy between their own stories and Bible stories. Stuck on the fine line between reality and forgetfulness, this is one of the few chances they have to come to grips with their traumas and emotions.

"Oca" - when his twelve year old brother dies free-diving in the Philippines, seven year old Oca must take his place on the job. "L'enfance de l'art" - children living and playing in a war zone are touched by violence.

When a love play transform a couple in two isolated and silences things.

It focuses on how youngsters in capitalist Russia turn to crime. Either they thrive at their game or they get locked up. In any case they're trapped. The portrayed kids are old men, acting wise and tough while in fact they're victims.

A young couple skip school to spend time together in a mansion.

May 1940, in the French Ardennes. The German Army is getting ready to invade France. Old Gustave lives alone in his village with Camille, his teenage granddaughter and Etienne, his grandson. All the other inhabitants have evacuated the village, which makes Gustave very happy as he is the sole master there. Etienne, does not care because he is too young but Camille is beginning to suffer from her solitude and finds it hard to put up with her granddad's selfishness and bossiness. One day a patrol of African-born soldiers ("Tirailleurs Sénégalais") comes to the deserted village...
