Melun Maa aka Land of Noise is a documentary about finnish noise scene. Documentary takes a look of current noise artists in Finland. What was the starting point of their noise career? What pushes people to work with extreme sounds and play underground shows? What about their gear or influences? Land of Noise documentary focuses on new noise boom in Finland and its artists. Arising from several stays in First Nations and Inuit communities, Foretelling the Land is an introspective movie about our relationship to reserves, both Indigenous and natural, and to the colonization of land and of thought.

For many, home is a refuge and a sanctuary; for stray animals, however, a loving home remains a distant dream. From 2019 to 2023, director Au Cheuk-man followed the non-profit organisation Paws Guardian on their harrowing missions to rescue and rehome stray animals – many of whom were abandoned, abused, or tortured. The result is a heartrending collection of stories on survival and resilience, highlighting the brutal realities faced by stray animals: of the 40 stray dogs featured in this documentary, only four ultimately found new homes.

For centuries, the peoples of Transcarpathia were isolated by politics, geography and poverty. Following WW1, as neighbouring states eyed the strategic and material potential of Transcarpathia, the region experienced a cultural renaissance. In 1939, as Europe prepared for war, the battle for control of the region escalated. Against a swell of political and military interventions, the republic of Carpatho-Ukraine was born, sowing the seeds for an independent Ukraine.

In a small town in northern Norway, Eira tries to follow in the shadow of her brilliant and rebellious older sister Vera. Lately however, something is happening to Vera. In a bid to understand, Eira starts reading her diary. She enters Vera’s universe of intense light, glitter, mythology and hopes for a more beautiful world. Yet her diary reveals a darkness that leaves Eira confused.

Dedicated to the Lemkos, who through their extraordinary love for the country overcame the trauma of massive deportations during the "Operation Vistula" and managed to return to their homeland. This film is a story about the fate of people from the annihilated Długie village, and it talks about Małastów village, where Lemkos, originally the dominant group, were transformed into a defenceless minority. Today, with admirable perseverance, they continue to fight for their rights. Above all, this is a film about love, which is the most precious thing.

The story of one Horehronie village through the fates of its inhabitants is a reflection of the social and economic reality of contemporary Slovakia and at the same time a search for a sense of being or a relationship with its country, its roots. Maintaining the traditions of folk culture and folklore is not just a romantic look into the village society. The appeal of social reality is moving elements of the traditional way of life closer and closer to societal issues. Praus's film offers an essay about man who is constantly struggling for his own sense of being.

The spirits of their ancestors too become part of their stories as the two sisters preform their memories. Dreams, fantasies, memories and reality starts to overlap to form a complex image of 'mother' in search of home.
