The disastrous meltdown of a nuclear power plant in Northern Spain created a contaminated no-go zone and left the nearby provincial city and inhabitants in a state of shock and mourning. Three years later, while the city prepares for the commemoration ceremony, a mutilated body is found in a warehouse. Police inspector Hector Uria's search for the murderer takes him deep into the no-go zone and into his own past.

hASIA la ZONA is an online television program similar to Zona Asia but for technological reasons the name was changed to Hasia la Zona. On June 6, 2007 it was released on DVD. It is a program dedicated to Asian shows from countries including South Korea, India, Japan and China. It is hosted by Wayra.

This 1980s revival of the classic sci-fi series features a similar style to the original anthology series. Each episode tells a tale (sometimes two or three) rooted in horror or suspense, often with a surprising twist at the end. Episodes usually feature elements of drama and comedy.

Several fantastic stories occur in the Mexican "Zone of Silence." It begins in the 1920s when a man steals a train and then flees to enter the present. Another man finds a colonizer guarded by a ghost treasure, two girls are attacked by an evil car and finally a man steals money, then he flees to enter the past.

A famous actor makes an appearance in an inland village accompanied by his friend. After waiting for ages for the car they're supposed to return in, they decide to walk back. They get lost but continue on their way through the countryside, towards the woods, with no direction. Not suspecting that they are already inside the Hot Zone.

La Zona Intertidal was made at a time when terrorist acts from both state and paramilitary were the order of the day in El Salvador and shaped the global perception of the country. Instead of the agitprop montages that characterized the political cinema of Latin America in the 1960s and ‘70s, this film is dominated by a feeling of deceptive calm: a beach, lapping waves, a man reading in a hammock, two men in conversation... The violence that breaks into these scenes is hinted at more than it is depicted. Only a closing text panel dedicating the film to the murdered teachers of El Salvador establishes a clear political context. LA ZONA INTERTIDAL was shown at the Short Film Festival Oberhausen in 1982 and awarded one of the main prizes by the International Jury. The festival program listed a “Grupo los Vagos” as the author of the film, a four-member collective that had begun working together in 1969 as the theater collective Taller de Los Vagos and later switched to the medium of film.
