Free adaptation based on Kafka's "The Metamorphosis". The action is in Praga occupied by Germans, at home of a Jew family (maybe the Kafka's). Novel's room of Gregor Samsa is replaced by an enormous library.

Juan Pérez is an ordinary Chilean; one who goes through his monotonous life unnoticed, surviving debts, his crushing work, minimum wage, and loneliness. Until one day, out of luck, he prevents a robbery and is given hero status by the media. This lasts 24 hours.
