The good citizens of a small Austrian town are all aquiver; the schoolmaster has published a brochure in which can be read, black on white, the story of the 'dead guest,' in whose embrace the town's prospective brides found death. But worst of all, the writer of the brochure has plausibly concluded that the 'dead guest' will return this very year! A copy of this film is conserved in the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC).

At the center of the story is an amateur female choir of the city of Tikhvin. Each of her participants is an ordinary woman who in everyday life is completely unrelated to the scene. One of them is a seller in a store, someone is engaged in garbage collection, and someone does work as a loader to provide shelter and food. But all of them are united by a love of music and a hope for a brighter future. The arrival of the Italian delegation in the city becomes a real glimpse among the gray everyday life of our heroines, and their dreams at that moment seem even more illusory.

He tries to cover by saying that the letter is addressed to a more conservative friend of his, leading to rumours of his friend’s (supposed) incredible passion becoming intriguing to the local women, even the Doctor’s own jealous wife.

Now he’s bewildered with a sudden debt of 80 million yen, but the man tells him that the debt would be eliminated if he becomes someone’s friend. A meeting place is arranged and he soon encounters a young lady, Kanoko. As she innocently takes him around, Nitta wonders about the situation, but they end up having sex on that first day. But he quickly comes to know how his life will totally change

A diamond heist with colorful characters and crisp cinematography, the humor is best described as unsophisticated Terence Hill and Bud Spencer larks complemented by crude animation, a bright and jazzy score by Cavallone regular composer Franco Potenza and a bevy of stunning women: Maria Pia Luzi, Beryl Cunningham, Magda Konopka and Claudie Lange.
