Backed by the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal in Montreal, Canada, famed soprano Kiri Te Kanawa sings selections from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" ("Dove Sono"), Puccini's "Tosca" ("Vissi d'arte"), "Gianni Schicchi" ("O mio Babbino Caro") and Gustave Charpentier's "Louise" ("Depuis le Jour").

Renowned soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa steers viewers through a showcase of her favorite opera scenes filmed at some of the world's most impressive venues and sung by greats such as Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Mirella Freni and Ileana Cotrubas. Highlights include "Die Fledermaus," performed at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden; "Otello," performed at the Arena di Verona; and "Nabucco," performed at the Teatro alla Scala.

Kiri Te Kanawa, Michael George, and a choir sing Christmas music, and in between selections, David Frost narrates a history of the Christmas carol.
