Guns and Roses is a Philippine action drama romance series that aired on ABS-CBN from June 6, 2011 to September 23, 2011 starring Robin Padilla, Bea Alonzo and Diether Ocampo. This is Robin Padilla's second action primetime series in the network, following the television series Basta't Kasama Kita, which concluded eight years ago. This is the first team up with Bea Alonzo as his leading lady and Diether Ocampo in a TV Production.

To avenge her family, beautiful and glamorous Wen Yu Nong became a spy with a talent for disguise. Now, for her revenge, she must use her talent and pretend to be someone else while reuniting with the man she once loved.

Wen Yunong, in order to uncover the truth behind the Wen family's massacre, infiltrates the Qin family under false pretenses. However, she unexpectedly reunites with her former lover, Qin Kewen, who she parted ways with three years ago. Her mission faces repeated obstacles as Qin Kewen returns with a vow for revenge, determined to expose Wen Yunong as a love fraud. Despite their adversarial stance, their emotions deepen with each encounter.

The film tells the story of a group of Chinese youths who robbed a bank of the “Manchuguo”, a puppet regime formed in China’s northeastern provinces by Japanese invaders in the 1930s and ’40s.

An Action Movie

Filmed at the legendary Ritz in 1991, this concert was one of three rehearsal “club” dates for the tour that would ultimately divide the band, and it took place at the 1,400-person-or-so-capacity Ritz. Rose tells the crowd he doesn’t like showing up to rehearsals (shocker) so this was his warmup, but he nevertheless delivers an impressive, throat-shredding performance throughout, even after injuring a leg mid-gig. He even sounds like he’s having fun. He does the Cool Hand Luke “failure to communicate” monologue himself in “Civil War,” which also features Slash riffing on Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child (Slight Return).”

Guns N’ Roses are back at Rock in Rio as headliners for the night of September 8, 2022, marking their presence for the 5th time at the festival. Considered one of the great rock bands that emerged in the late 80’s and until today, they are back for another iconic show on the Main Stage, bringing all the power and ferocity of their unique sound. The band’s lineup is Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, joined by guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese. The repertoire will likely include great classics ranging from “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “November Rain”, “Paradise City” and new hits like “Hard Skool”, released in 2021.

The Use Your Illusion Tour was a concert tour by the rock band Guns N' Roses which ran from January 20, 1991 to July 17, 1993. It was not only the band's longest tour, but one of the longest concert tours in rock history, consisting of 198 shows in 31 countries. It was also a source of much infamy for the band, due to riots, late starts, cancellations and outspoken rantings by Axl Rose.
