As miscommunication and temptations abound, a couple's once-passionate marriage slowly unravels, narrated through humorous dioramas.

DIORAMA follows Casey Salinger, a clairvoyant theater director who embarks on a new production following the death of her controversial husband.

To be born and to grow up on an island like Sardinia, it almost feels like to live inside of a Diorama: a small, picturesque surrounding that can only give you an impression of reality. Seen through the eyes of a person who left and told by the voices of the young people that are still there, Diorama is an analysis on belonging to a place that feels abandoned and hostile towards the people that inhabit an island that has so much to offer, but at the same time nothing to give.


The toad, the stork and the swallow. The encounter between man and wild animal in the city. By observing the activity which brings the protagonists of the three stories closer to the animal world, an intimate dimension reveals itself, something which isn’t immediately visible but which has always been present in mankind; something which can only return to its true essence through an otherness.

Dioramas chronicles the rehearsals of a small contemporary dance company (charged by choreographer Mario Pattin) in a vérité manner.
