A death metal band sets out to record a piece of music that, according to myth, drives audiences mad. What the band didn't expect was that the myth was true, and they must now survive the curse that's been unleashed.

The heroine of the documentary that was published by American magazine The Atlantic is a 97-year-old Inge Ginsberg, who first escaped the Nazi regime across the mountains into Switzerland, and after the war moved to Hollywood with her husband Otto, where she wrote music alongside him (their work includes Dean Martin’s Try Again). In the present day, she applies for the show America’s Got Talent where she performs heavy metal music, through which she wants to pass her wisdom on to the world, as well as to have as much fun as possible at her age. This life-affirming film is made with no special allowances for Igne’s age, which commands much respect.

Brad Masters enters a contest and wins an album by his favorite band of all time, Living Corpse. The tape has a special song called "Zombiefied", which turns Brad and his friends into zombies at a party. Luckily, Brad's girlfriend Angel misses the party and it is up to her to save her friends. She runs into Shengar (lead singer of Living Corpse and ruler of the dead world) , who attempts to stop Angel. During Angel's escape, she teams up with her friend Tommy who learns that there is only way to stop the zombies. Now, Angel and Tommy have limited time to figure out how to reverse the zombie curse and save their friends.

Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Despite their band name, Eagles of Death Metal is not a death metal band. Hughes stated that a friend was introducing Josh Homme to the death metal genre. When he played a song by the Polish band Vader and made a claim that the song was within the death metal genre, Homme then referred to Vader as "The Eagles of Death Metal". After hearing this phrase, he wondered what a cross between the Eagles and a death metal band would sound like.[1] In a 2003 interview Homme described the sound of the band as a combination of "bluegrass slide guitar mixed with stripper drum beats and Canned Heat vocals." Jesse Hughes is known by fans for his enthusiastic interaction with audiences at live performances.

During Eagles Of Death Metal's November 13, 2015 show at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris, gunmen entered the venue and opened fire on the crowd, leaving 89 dead. On February 16, 2016 the band returned to the Olympia in Paris to complete their show.

Ramón and Céline are a young couple that attended a concert at the Bataclan theatre in Paris on the fateful night of November 13, 2015. They survive the attack, but when they leave the theatre, they are no longer the same. That night leaves a deep scar on both their lives and each tries to cope with the aftermath as best they can. Céline desperately tries to leave the events behind her, clinging to her previous life, while Ramón repeatedly goes back to that night, trying to remember and understand what happened. Nonetheless, they both face the same key question: how to reconnect and move on together?
