Behind The Looking Glass is a film about the lives of women whose partners have or want to ‘transition’. While we hear a great deal of “stunning and brave” stories of men, there is a deadly silence when it comes to the stories of the wives or partners. This film will be the first of its kind in collecting such experiences of women from around the world.

After attending to a client with wound marks on her face, a lash designer realizes that there is something very wrong with the girl's home life.

Shooting began with pointing the camera at the sunset seen through the window at home, and continued until all the 8mm film I had was used up. The sound is recorded on a magnetic material coated on the film at the same time as shooting, and the sound on the cassette tape is mixed and played back at the time of screening. Sometimes a projectionist calls on the audience. This is a ritual that transforms the original shape and brings the dismantled "movie" back to the theater. (Kenji Murakami)

Postwoman Mrs Skorepa, her husband the ambulance driver Mr Skorepa and their eleven-year-old twins Petr and Pavel live in Prague in Malá Strana (Lesser Town), one of the Prague's historical and oldest quarters. The boys are crazy about cars and everything linked to them. They don't share their father's love of classical music. On the other hand, they are crazy about the newly announced scrap yard competition for paper collection. The lottery tickets awarded for every ten kilograms of old paper collected could win them a go-kart.
