Playing to a crowd of over 80,000 people, Rieu is joined on stage by the Johann Strauss Orchestra as well as some special guests including Mirusia Louwerse, The Platin Tenors and Lou Bega.

“Love in Maastricht” was recorded with 28 cameras on three nights, capturing the most emotional moments on and off stage - It includes world famous songs and arias such as 'Nessun Dorma’ by Giacomo Puccini, 'Granada', 'You’ll Never Walk Alone', the 'Snowwaltz', and the 'Radetzky March'; global hits like 'Can’t Help Falling In Love', and goosebumps -inducing interpretations of 'You Raise Me Up' and 'Lara’s Theme' and of course ‘The Beautiful Blue Danube’ -

One of the most popular live acts in the world, the King of the Waltz André Rieu has announced that his 2018 Maastricht concerts will be screened in over 2000 cinemas worldwide across the weekend of 28th – 29th July, as he performs his hometown shows this year with a celebration of love. ‘Amore, My Tribute to Love’, is the renowned violinists tribute to his love for music, and his love for both of his families; his wife and children, and of course for his Johann Strauss Orchestra, who he has performed with for over 30 years.

After a successful South African tour in 2010, the Vrijthof concerts were all about Africa that year. André invited the South African soloists from the tour to take part in this summer’s Vrijthof concerts: the fantastic young soprano Kimmy Skota from Cape Town, the Bloemfontein Children’s Choir and the children from the Hout Bay Music Project provided a real South African atmosphere. This fabulous summer evening concert also featured the sopranos Mirusia Louwerse and Carmen Monarcha, the Platinum Tenors and the Berlin Comedian Harmonists. The evening has an upbeat end with a guest appearance from DJ Ötzi. This is a truly fantastic concert that you really can’t miss!

In the summer of 2023, André Rieu delighted over 145,000 fans from around the world in his hometown of Maastricht. This DVD captures the spirit of these wonderful concerts: "Love is all Around" was recorded live in July 2023 and is a recording of the entire concert. The picturesque Vrijthof square serves as a backdrop, creating a magical atmosphere. Sophisticated set design, colorful costumes and the use of special effects contribute to a visually stunning and unforgettable experience.
