A worthy attempt to illustrate the futility of war, and of racism in particular.

Pantelis, a building contractor, is informed that the mother of his adopted daughter Julia has been released after many years in prison. He decides to speak to the girl about her mother's past and character. The story began in Aegina, where his partner Agis and he had undertaken the construction of a pier in the harbor. There they met her mother, orphan Roi, who worked at Jimmy's taverna. Agis fell passionately in love with her, but, due to other obligations, he had to leave the island and return to the capital, without knowing that Roi was already pregnant.

A German sociologist goes to Sweden to investigate whether the Swedish sin is myth or not. He stations himself in a student home for girls. His fiancée in Berlin fantasizes about the study, and to allay her worries she packs her bags and goes to find him, to convince him to come home.

When Safy discovers that her husband is cheating on her with the maid, her revenge constitutes of having the maid's husband divorce her so that her own husband could marry her. She asks for a divorce once Shawkat marries the maid and returns to her successful tourism company.
