The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place on March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, the Zombies and the Cure make up the Class of 2019. They were inducted by a star-studded group of peers including Brian May of Queen, Harry Styles, David Byrne, Simon Le Bon and John Taylor of Duran Duran, Susannah Hoffs of the Bangles and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. An artist is eligible for the hall of fame 25 years after their first commercial release. The nominating committee creates a shortlist, according to the Hall's official website, and then sends the ballot to "more than 1,000 historians, members of the music industry and artists — including every living Rock Hall inductee." The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has selected the top five vote-getters for induction in the past, but this year seven artists were inducted (Janet Jackson also made the final cut; she was inducted by Janelle Monae).

Kids Can Rock and Roll is a children's television program that aired from 1993-1996 on Canada's Global Television Network. It was produced by Children's Hour Productions in association with Global. Following its run on Global, the series ran another two years on the YTV children's cable channel. The show featured the rock band Kideo, which consisted of Buddy Goodfellow on bass, Ace Manners on guitar, and P.J. Styles on drums, with all three members contributing vocals. Each band member had a signature color - Buddy was green, Ace was blue, and P.J. was red. These colors were reflected in their clothing, hair, masks, and face make-up. Each episode featured four original rock songs for kids, including a live concert video. The band members also performed various activities with the intent of teaching the young viewers certain moral lessons. Additional segments in the show included "Air-Robic Rock", Kideo Eye-View Movies, and Fan Mail. What set Kideo apart from many other children's groups was that they wrote all their own songs, and played their own instruments. They released three albums entitled "Kids Can Rock And Roll", "In A World Of Black And White", and "The Name Of The Game". They also released two videos - "KIDEO In Concert" and a KIDEO puppet video entitled "The Puppetual World Of Rock And Roll". Both videos featured songs and scenes from the TV series, but included never-before-seen hosting segments by KIDEO.

Filmed record of a major rock and roll festival held at Wembley Stadium, London, in August 1972. London Rock and Roll Show begins with excerpts from numerous "warm-up" performers shown singing either covers of 1950s hits, or original tunes, including a performance by Screaming Lord Sutch that threatens to end the concert prematurely when he brings a stripper on stage. The main concert segment begins with Bo Diddley and continues with a string of other major performers including Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and Bill Haley and His Comets. The concert ends with an extended performance by Chuck Berry, who at the time was enjoying major chart success in Britain and the US with his "My Ding-a-Ling" (although he does not perform that song in this film). Mick Jagger also appears in several non-musical interludes in which he is interviewed about the performers.

Little Richard can stake a claim on having invented rock 'n' roll. A black artist who grew up in the segregated south of the United States, Richard Penniman broke down barriers and took 1950s America by storm. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones supported him and drew inspiration from his musicianship and stagecraft. He went on to influence artists as diverse as David Bowie, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Prince. Yet Little Richard spent years feeling his contribution to music had been overlooked in favour of white rock 'n' roll stars like Elvis Presley and Pat Boone. On top of that, the inner conflict between his religious beliefs and the music style he pioneered – as well as his battles with his own sexuality – led him to quit rock 'n' roll not just once, but twice.

Formed in 1992, the rockabilly band Los Rockers has shaped a career that has earned five publications, prizes in competitions and the respect of their idols. After completing twenty years of work, the group is forced to conclude a new album and present it in Mexico, thus compensating for past mistakes. Music is, for them, an instrument of agitation: "The rebellious rock and roll was, is and will be our best weapon, shooting against the system, the discontent and the shameful inequality to which we are subjected."

Veteran documentary filmmaker and hipster Lech Kowalski creates this film about his friend and hard-partying rock god Johnny Thunders, member of legendary proto-punk band the New York Dolls. Through archive footage and interviews with such musicians as Dee Dee Ramone and Sylvain Sylvain, the film details his stint with the Dolls, the formation of his other band, the Heartbreakers; his rise to fame, particularly in Japan; his descent into heroin addiction, and the mysterious circumstances of his death.

On October 29th and 30th, 2009, rock 'n' roll royalty held court at Madison Square Garden for what have been called 'the best concerts ever,' and 'where rock 'n' roll history was made.' The concerts featured a who's who of rock 'n' roll from the '50s to the '90s and included artists performing together in unprecedented combinations that will most likely never be witnessed again. 'The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary Concerts' included sets by Crosby, Stills & Nash; Stevie Wonder; Paul Simon; Simon & Garfunkel; Aretha Franklin; Metallica; U2; Jeff Beck and Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band. Joining this iconic line up on stage were special guests including: Jerry Lee Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King, Annie Lennox, Lou Reed, John Fogerty, Mick Jagger, Fergie and others. A 4-hour special of the concerts aired on HBO to high ratings, and was seen by tens of millions. Now this historic event is available on DVD.
