A Good Day for the Wind to Blow is a 2010 South Korean television series starring Kim So-eun and Jin Yi-han. The daily drama aired on KBS1 from February 1 to October 1, 2010, from Mondays to Fridays at 20:25 for 173 episodes.

Every couple has its fair share of hardships and struggle to overcome, whether it be physical and psychological. Jin-sung and Sang-gi are a gay couple tormented by an unfortunate accident. Yeon-mi and Suk-hee are a lesbian couple suffering from severe depression and its aftermath. Their paths cross as Yeon-mi seeks professional help from Jin-sung with the two couples confiding, exchanging secrets and confessing their longing for love and security with each other.

Based on Mo Shu Bai's novel of the same name, the story follows Liu Yuru, the daughter of a cloth merchant who suffered from a young age. She changes her view of Gu Jiusi and discovers his pure and sincere side. Meanwhile, the commander of Yangzhou causes chaos, forcing Gu's family to flee. Gu Jiusi matures and becomes the Minister of Revenue, working to lighten the tax burden on the people. Liu Yuru establishes a women's charity and builds business relationships to bring prosperity to the people. Together, they create a prosperous era.

The Girl in the Wind: Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair is an anime series produced by Nippon Animation which ran for 52 episodes on Japanese TV from 1992–1993. It is based on the 1854 song "Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair" by Stephen Foster.
